At Valley Christian Academy we strive to teach and train students to become disciples of Jesus Christ so “…that in all things He (Christ) might have pre-eminence.” (Col. 1:18). As such we purpose to provide a positive environment and a high-quality program which facilitates:

Our story
VCA first opened its doors in 1986 and has grown through its partnership with the Prairie Spirit School Division and the Bergthaler Mennonite Church.
In September 2024, VCA became a Certified Independent School. We proudly serve both the educational goals set by the Ministry of Education and the spiritual direction provided by Bergthaler Mennonite Church.
Our program follows the Saskatchewan provincial curriculum, integrated with a Christian perspective. Students who meet the credit requirements graduate with a full Grade 12 standing from the Ministry of Education and are eligible for any post-secondary program of their choice.
What makes us different
Christ-centred education
From kindergarten through grade 12, Christ is at the centre of how we teach, lead, and learn together.
Christian ethics class
A formal Christian Ethics class at every grade level helps students think biblically about life.
Biblical integration
Biblical principles are woven into every subject, not treated as a separate add-on.
Christian teachers
Provincially certified teachers who are committed Christians and active in their churches.
Full Grade 12 standing
Graduates earn a Ministry-recognized Grade 12 standing and qualify for any post-secondary program.

Our statement of faith
We believe:
God
- One living, eternal, and true God who is the Creator of all things.
- The Trinity of the Godhead: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
- The deity of Jesus Christ, who became the propitiation for sinners.
- The virgin birth of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit
The person of the Holy Spirit, sent from God and indwelling all believers.
Scripture & The Church
- The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are wholly inspired by God, infallible, and the final authority in faith and life.
- The Church is the body of Christ and its mission is to fulfil the Great Commission of preaching, teaching, and discipling.
Marriage, Resurrection & Christ’s Return
- God instituted marriage as a permanent bond between male and female of the same faith.
- The literal resurrection of the body, and the personal and bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
VCA has also adopted the Nashville Statement.
